Up 09 00. Congestion. Cold in morning perhaps first time since May. Put gilet on.

Breakfast : coffee; muesli (dairy). King Charles heckled in Cardiff; security interposed self before King moved on. FT presenting data indicating poorest in UK amongst poorest in Europe : e.g. poorest quintile in Ireland 63% better off than counterparts in UK. President Mexico calling on Biden administration release Julian Assange.

Did dishes, went bathroom and showered.

Walked into town, visiting charity shops, and Richer Sounds where told member staff had managed buy SCART. Signeage advertising Great Bath Feast (‘free entry’).

Afternoon

Lunch : ravioli; salad; panacotta. Leaked Shell documents indicate no plans for net zero portfolio in 10-20 years. Getting wound up noise motorists – some of whom residents – and works.

Siesta.

Tea : melon; black tea.

Looked at garden designs. Played guitar and thought about music. Feeling beginning understand nature of lead guitar playing better; study of solos and melody probably useful.

Went to Waitrose for food.
