Morning

Up 07 15. Congestion.

Breakfast : coffee; muesli (almond milk). Metropolitan Police shot dead unarmed black man. Fracking lawful again.

Prepared for appointments.

Met WC at Pinesgate (DWP). Reviewed progress and discussed Jobs Fair, indicating last time attended fair spoke to representatives of Civil Service and HMRC who had referred me to websites. WC mentioned EiE. Went on to EA at Northgate House (Seetec Pluss) who listened to review progress, advising me sign up to NHS ‘bank’ and Local Authority equivalent. Said such casual work may be used to recruit permanent staff (not my experience). More generally, EA related how had managed get family examine whether considered their views were, in fact, theirs or BBC editors’. Had ceased waching and listening BBC News, after reflecting on what EA called ‘Agent Smith Syndrome’. Made next appointment.

Elevenses : coffee (outside at Cascara).

Joined CWU members on Manvers Street picket line. Good reception again. Some managers in evidence doing special deliveries apparently. One of members young mother, attending with child in pram, complete with messaging. Left after 90 minutes or so as pickets began calling it a day.

Returned home via Waitrose, buying pizza. Saw acquaintances, one sitting outside with new facial injuries, and a small business owner, now married, who seemed quite content. Discussed picket with Waitrose staff members who confirmed maltreatment staff from own experience.

Afternoon

Lunch: pizza; salad. Scaffolding continuing. Neighbour left note on door to bloc saying someone had signed for parcel which had failed to reach her.

Siesta.

Spoke friend.

Evening

Supper : pizza; salad.

Worked on LFE.

Online until turning in.
