Breakfast : orange juice; coffee; muesli (dairy). Launch rally EiE Liverpool yesterday. Ukrainian nuclear plant stormed by Ukrainian forces, notwithstanding presence IAEA inspectors, apparently. UK Health Security Agency expanded ‘polio sewage surveillance’ outside London. Neapolitans burning bills.

Showered, dressed, and went out to meet friend, taking coffee at coffee house (courtesy me), before going on to Farmer’s Market where bought bread, onions, fennel, plums. Saw colleagues and friend.

Elevenses : coffee.

Worked on LFE. Spoke friend.

Afternoon

Lunch : moules et frites; salad. Neighbour singing Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds.

Siesta.

Tea : plums; black tea.

Went to Waitrose for food, buying reduced cherry pie and cream. Doorman at The Green Tree asked me where I was going as I passed. Acquaintance I met earlier in year said hello, explaining had bad day, only managing sell two poems; was thinking printing poems on rice paper so people could pay to ‘eat [his] words’.

Evening

Supper : bread, hummus, tomato; cherry pie and cream.
