Morning

Up 08 30.

Breakfast : coffee; muesli (dairy milk). Footage/pictures of effigies of Sinn Fein politicians hanging on bonfires in Northern Ireland.

Went bathroom, did dishes, and dressed.

Visited charity shops in search for crockery and glassware. Accosted by BathNES Green Party Election Agent en route to Waitrose, asking me about possible candidacies in forthcoming elections. Said was considering and would revert. A man who seemed drunk crossed the road in front of me, saying ‘something has to be wrong here.’ Saw friend for first time in years on Lansdown Road.

Afternoon

Lunch : Matzos with hummus and cucumber; plums. Secondary school absences running at nearly 20% apparently.

Cleaned and tidied studio some more. Low spirits/dark thoughts and felt hot in studio though local weather station indicated 23.5c outside : suspected might be unwell.

Tea : water; plums.

Went to friend’s apartment to water plants in his absence.

Evening

Supper : matzos with hummus, cucumber.

Spoke to friend.

Took paracetamol before turning in.
