Morning

Up 09 00.

Breakfast : orange juice; coffee; granola (dairy). Online.

Did laundry : bedding only in case colours run. Went to bathroom, showered and dressed.

Considered offering paid walking tours during summer : e.g. A Walk Around The Earth System.

Elevenses : coffee; madeleines. Hung laundry to dry using spare curtain rod and banner rods.

Worked on website. Cigarette smoke in studio.

Afternoon

Lunch : fried egg; rice.

Walked into town, visiting Bog Island, overlooking Parade Gardens and listening to Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band (which could use a pacemaker), and noticing 9 square meter bed dedicated to wildflowers and wildlife. Walked past BIg Issue vendor having his hair cut in situ (I would guess for free) and bought pizza on offer in Waitrose.

Worked through media institutions looking for vacancies. Put bin out.

Tea : black tea; shortbread.

Worked through UK Civil Service vacancies, starting with homeworking : nothing obviously fitting bill and some difficult emotions/dark thoughts.

Evening

Supper : vegetable pizza.

Worked through BathNES Council (local authority) vacancies, starting with those ‘closing soon’, finding one or two vacancies of interest, and deciding to apply for newly created Nature Recovery Manager position. Had to re-register online which took some time as guidance and design poor; subsequently found vacancy disappeared until searched for via the ‘Closing Soon’ route at which point thought best to complete following morning.
